new york; Wonderful city to meet. part I

A while ago, enjoy New York and we would like to show you the incredible things of the city that never sleeps. It has many places somo museums and monuments. the most important sites are very frequented by tourists. The skyscraper of the Big Apple has received 100 million tourists since its inaguration. Do you know when it takes to build?

In the mid-1930s the chrysler building was built, located on Lexington Avenue in New York. It was the longest building in the world, demonstrating the power of the car brand. in the struggle to become a self-promotion of the President of the General Motors, entrusting the architect William Labert with building a bigger building than the competition.

So began the construction of the empire state in 1930. located on the new york avenue, the empire state was built in 410 days. The tower rose rapidly at a construction speed of 4 and a half floors per week. During the years, reforms were made and now it is the tallest building in New York. The Empire State is one of the symbols of New York and the United States. It is also the tallest building in the city, a good place to see the city from above.

The Statue of Liberty in New York represents the relationship of the United States and France and generate a closer relationship between the two countries. It was a gift from the French people to commemorate the centenary of North America.

More than one million francs were raised through donations that were financed by the companies that wanted to be the funders of the statue. In 1880 the statue was shown to the Minister of France in Paris. although the construction of the statue began in 1884 it was not completed and it was shown to the world in 1886. the congress declared it a national monument in 1956.
